Our aim
Serenity Guest House on Plover (Pty) Ltd aims to make this website accessible, using WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the target. The design includes semantic document headings, descriptive image text, keyboard controls, high-contrast focus indicators, form instructions and error links, responsive layouts and reduced-motion styling.
Known limits
Code, static structure, specified colour pairs and interaction logic have been checked. Current-release testing in real browsers, with screen readers, magnification, voice control and physical devices is still needed. An independent conformance audit has not been completed; this statement does not claim full WCAG compliance. External services have their own accessibility arrangements.
Known slideshow accessibility exception
The homepage photographs preload and rotate automatically every seven seconds. Previous and next controls are available, but there is no pause or stop control. Reduced-motion preferences remove the fade; they do not stop rotation. This does not meet WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.2.2 (Pause, Stop, Hide), so the site is not claimed to conform fully to WCAG Level A or AA.
